About Me

Hi guys!

My name is Jossannah Smith, I'm an ISSA-certified fitness professional, owner of JS-FIIT, and lifelong athlete. JS-FIIT which abbreviates from my first and last name (JS) and FIIT which abbreviates to Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type). The F.I.T.T. principle guide will help you create a workout plan that will be more effective in reaching your fitness goals.

My fitness program focuses on weight loss, sports nutrition and fitness training. My favorite part about fitness is Circuit training because i love the intensity. in 2019 I decided to start pursuing my studies with sports managament and sports medicine. I took my first step by taking an online course that focused on Personal Training and Nutrition. I started with the ISSA online program where I got certified with Personal Training and Sports Nutrition and I also got my CPR certification. I Started my journey on a part time basis while working a 9-5 job, meanwhile building my clientele in the same process. I would say that my favorite part about my business is when I can watch my clients grow into loving their fitness journey and creating a lifestyle from it.

From a young age Sports and fitness has been a major part of my life. I've traveled around the world to represent my country for sports. Soccer/Football was my first sport that I took up when i was around the age of 6 for roughly 7 years. At the age of 14 I started Volleyball and it has stuck with me to current date. I started off with indoor volleyball and excelled very well and managed to secure a place on the National Team in my country.

I went from playing in recreational club leagues to a more advance level, with the Cayman Islands Women's National Volleyball Team. Over time my skills started to advance, allowing me to be a more effective player. Although my volleyball career has not ended, but my passion has grown for helping the youth of my country develop their skills in this sport and the passion as much as I am. Currently i'm pursuing my coaching certification so that I can help develop the skills for the youth in my community.

In 2017 I started my certification in Sports Management with the intentions to becoming a coach. In 2019 I thought I would take my fitness to another level by starting my Certification as a Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. My goal is to help both my clients and the youth players set realistic goals and transform their health, work on their skills and technique in order to advance to higher levels.
